France honored at SIAM Meknes 2026
Fenvia Livestock will be present, as it is every year, at the Meknes International Agricultural Show.
France will once again be in the spotlight this year, providing an opportunity to strengthen bilateral agreements between the two countries in the field of livestock farming. One of the main topics of discussion will be Moroccan and French expectations for the reopening of the market following its closure last July due to the DNC.
This is an unmissable event for Fenvia Livestock, providing an opportunity to meet with all its customers and further strengthen its already significant commercial agreements.
Meeting at the SIA 2026
On Monday, February 23, 2026, at the SIA, a meeting was held between exporters and a Moroccan delegation, chaired by its Minister of Agriculture, Mr. Ahmed El Bouari.
The purpose of this meeting was to have a productive discussion on the implementation of new health measures and the reopening of the Moroccan market (exports to Morocco were closed due to CND – contagious nodular dermatosis) in order to continue the partnership between the two countries.
Our priority during this exchange was to emphasize the ability of FENVIA and the Innoval cooperative to provide solutions both in terms of the quantities of heifers requested and in terms of solutions for farms.
We reiterated that our supply basin is located in an area free of contagious nodular dermatosis and highlighted the work carried out over the past three years between our breeders and our Moroccan customers to sustain the sector and increase trade and knowledge exchange between the two countries.
Our wish is to restart exports quickly.
The Moroccan minister and ONSSA representatives reaffirmed their willingness to import large numbers of dairy heifers, while ensuring that the CND issue is properly managed and a new health certificate is drafted in the future.
The next meeting is scheduled to take place at SIAM (Moroccan International Agricultural Show), where the agriculture ministers of both countries are set to meet again.
