Training and Monitoring

FENVIA pays particular attention to the outcome of exported animals. The training of breeders and technicians is essential for the proper care of exported heifers. There are four critical factors for ensuring efficient production: Feed, buildings, training and Agro-zoo technical and veterinary monitoring.

Animal feed

Each country has different rainfall and land quality. The FENVIA team establishes an inventory of available resources. Samples are sent to our laboratories to determine their nutritional value. The establishment of a dairy or meat herd requires in all cases, a folder production and an imposing stock, before animal’s arrival.

Building plans

The respect of animals’ comfort and their well-being is essential to enhance their genetic potential. Well oriented and ventilated buildings are required to guarantee the optimization of animal performance. As well as, it is necessary to ensure efficient handling and restraining methods and equipment. A FENVIA specialist is at your disposal for drawing up your building plans.

Veterinary and Health Monitoring

For almost 20 years, FENVIA veterinarians have been traveling to convey health, feed and reproduction monitoring. In close collaboration with the team in different countries, they establish the best food rations available, organize a prophylaxis program and actively participate in the proper monitoring of reproduction. A cow must calve once a year to allow the valuation of its meat and the optimization of its milk production.

Training of farmers and Technicians

Our veterinarian/trainer is at your disposal to help you by handling our animals with high genetic potential in the best possible way. Depending on the country and customer demand, a training plan is offered before and after animals’ arrival. The main topics covered are :

  • Cow health from calving to breeding
  • Feeding and ratio
  • Anatomy
  • Herd management
